I second the sweetbreads. They are great.

Started the night out in the lounge while waiting for friends, great cocktails and lounge menu. Ordered the hummus and sweetbreads finished with truffles, they are a must! Moved over to the dining room and was amazed by professional waitstaff, striking decor, and a skillfully crafted menu. Menu included locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as specialty meats, which is hard to find these day’s! Overall my experience at AVA was first-rate, best restaurant in the area hands down, can’t wait to go back!

Living in Dallas, I’m used to fine dining and my favorite restaurants include Sevy’s and Houstons. When I heard about Restaurant Ava in Rockwall, I couldn’t believe it could be in the same league as the best in Dallas. Was I ever surprized! This was the best meal (entree tenderloin and sorbet for dessert) I have experienced in YEARS! Plus the wine list is amazing. Drive to Rockwall! The staff and decor are also superb.

No way to pick a favorite. Menu changes before I can graze my way through the selections. The only way I can see to make a pick would be to order the Chef’s tasting so as to sample 5 at a time.

Great atmosphere and wonderful food. Waiter helped with a great wine selection!! My hubby and I enjoyed a great evening together and we will return time after time.

Your Mojitos are so refreshing on a summer night. What about every Wednesday being Mojito night? I’m waiting to see that spiced beet and cabbage dish on the menu.

The first Wine Dinner was a success! My hats off to Restaurant AVA! I am ready for the next wine dinner—sign me up! Eileen’s carrot cake and the lobster were fabulous! I hope to see these on the menu!

Whenever my family is in town we always eat here atleast once!!!

Great job on everything. Best burger you will ever eat if you are hungry for that.

This comment has nothing to do with family ties. I recently had Sunday brunch. The chicken fried steak is about the best Ive evr had and the waffle, no words to describe it. Awesome doesnt do it justice! I cant wait t go back. That Ava burger is to die for too. So are the fish and chips on the lunch menu
